Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy is a low-impact, therapeutic exercise that helps with recovery, mobility, and muscle strengthening. Whether your dog is recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or simply needs support with mobility, our purpose-built hydrotherapy pool provides a safe and effective environment.
Some of the most common issues treated with hydrotherapy include:
- Hip dysplasia
- Elbow dysplasia
- Patella luxation

- Spondylosis – spinal arthritis
- Orthopedic issues
- Neurological issues
- Soft tissue injuries
- Degenerative and medical conditions
- Conditions related to age – juvenile/ geriatric
- CDRM /Degenerative myelopathy
- Spinal injuries
- Mobility issues
- Obesity control
- Sports fitness/ performance. Agility, working trials, showing etc.
Water confidence and pleasure swims
Not all dogs are natural swimmers, and some may need extra encouragement to feel comfortable in water. Our water confidence and pleasure swims are designed to help dogs gain confidence in a safe, controlled, and supportive environment.
These sessions are perfect for:
- Nervous or first-time swimmers who need a gentle introduction to water.
- Dogs recovering from injury or surgery, providing a low-impact way to build strength.
- Older dogs who benefit from light exercise without putting stress on their joints.
- Energetic dogs who simply love to swim and need a safe place to burn off energy.
Each session is supervised by a trained hydrotherapist, ensuring your dog feels safe and supported throughout. Whether it’s for fun, fitness, or rehabilitation, our warm-water hydrotherapy pool provides a positive and enjoyable experience for every dog.
Veterinary physiotherapy
Our physiotherapy sessions use massage, stretching, electrotherapy (laser and pulsed electromagnetic therapy), and remedial exercises to improve joint function, muscle mass, and overall comfort. Each session is tailored to your dog’s specific needs to help them regain strength and movement.
Your dog will be assessed by our veterinary Physiotherapist and treated using a range of techniques including specific exercises with stretching and myofacial release along with electrotherapies such as Laser Therapy. Our Veterinary Physiotherapist will talk you through and provide you with a written home exercise prescription with programmes to promote and improve your dog’s recovery and home life.
Land based physiotherapy combined with hydrotherapy work extremely well together, and offers your dog the best outcome in their rehabilitation and recovery journey.
Laser therapy
Laser therapy for your dog is also known as Low Level Laser, Cold Laser or Class IV Laser and it is used to stimulate cell regeneration and increase blood circulation. It can be used to treat a multitude of conditions, including:
- Arthritis
- Pain
- Muscle, tendon and ligament issues
- Degenerative disc disease
- Open wounds
- Post-surgical trauma
- Soft tissue injury
- Hot Spots and skin issues
Laser treatment is pain-free and non-invasive and can be very relaxing with many dogs falling asleep during their Laser treatment session. Laser therapy is used to reduce pain, inflammation and to stimulate Lymphatic drainage. It also stimulates nerve cells that block pain signals from being transmitted to the brain. It can speed up the healing process, strengthen soft tissue, help improve mobility and generally improve your dog’s overall quality of life.
